I personally don't think that it takes more talent for traditional art than digital! I mean you still have to know how to draw, understand how light and shadow works, knowing anatomy, and all the same things that you have to learn to do traditional art. maybe digital art is more controllable, because you can easily fix the mistakes, but then again the idea of drawing with the mouse or a tablet just sounds too complicated for me, so I don't think that it takes more talent for traditional. It just takes practice and effort in both of them.
Oh I was worried that my lineart gave you a hard time, but I'm glad if that's not the case. and you're right, there's surely something to gain with this kinda of trades! I'm looking forward to do another in the future!
Oh yeah it would be lovely to do a collage with the four pictures, I will send you my email, but if you want to post it on your profile that's okay with me, it's just the same! Thanks again for everything!
thank you for the kind words. For the record, your art work is NEVER mediocre. It's superb work. I said it once and I'll say it till I go away....
"It takes way more talent to draw with physical media than digital".
I'm grateful for the opportunity you gave me, and I don't see the artwork as a problem, but something different from my usual style. I've learned things from your work. It has style to it and should be embraced, not objectified. There's nothing to fail at in a style swap, but always something to gain. Therefore, I see your work as perfect as it is, and if you disagree then it's totally up to you to do something different (i'm here to help, just ask). As always keep up the good work and hopefully we can swap in the future. Good Times... Stay groovy.
BTW, If you want I can make the 4 picture "collage" result pic and email it to you so you can post it here. I just need your e-addy.
Oh my gosh this is incredible! You took my mediocre lineart and transform it this masterpiece! seriously I'm amazed! a fantastic job really! I'm sorry that my lineart gave you problems, I should have picked a character with less detailed to draw! Ugh I kinda failed in this style swap, sorry for that... but it was fun, thanks so much for doing it with me!
